This week, Yahoo and Taboola signed an exclusive 30-year commercial agreement after Yahoo became the largest shareholder in the Israeli content recommendation company. This huge deal saw Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and Erdinast, Ben Nathan, Toledano & Co. With Hamburger Evron act for Yahoo, while Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and Meitar represented Taboola. In another cross-border collaboration, Gross acted for Switzerland-based Infront Sports & Media, a global leader in the sports media and marketing industry, acquired eight-year-old Israeli start-up Pico Media Moments. Meanwhile, Herzog advised Israel Electric Corporation on yet another bond issuance – raising NIS 2.3 billion on this occasion. 

While Polish law firms shared what they have been doing to help Ukrainians, Israeli start-ups have been sharing their experience and insight with key stakeholders in the Philippines. UAE has invested over USD 77 million in Israeli high-tech companies to date, mostly in the Cleantech sector.
