Another exciting week at the start-up nation. CAF and Shapir Civil and Marine Engineering have won the Light Rail tender for Tel Aviv’s Purple Line, with Shibolet & Co. advising for the wining partiers involved.

Firebolt Analytics completes financing, at USD 1.4 billion valuation. Goodwin acts for lead investor with H-F & Co.  as Israeli counsel.

To other tech related news, adtech company Innovid acquires TVSquared for USD 160 million. DLA Piper acted as lead counsel for the buyer with FWMK as Israeli counsel. From Ad-tech to Agtech – agricultural optimization company Agritask raises USD 26 million, with Yigal Arnon  acting for the Israeli start-up. On the cross-border transactions front we saw Nanotech start-up Gauzy raise USD 60 million and snap up France’s Visión Systems, with Gornitzky & Co and McDermott Will & Emery advising.

In other news, Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Tel-Aviv office Managing Shareholder, Joey Shabot, highlights five trends to watch in Israeli business in 2022. We congratulate Tadmor Levy & Co.’s Mrs. Gali Baharav – Miara on her recent appointment as the first female Attorney General.
