Israeli startups raised over USD 2.2 Billion in April, the second successive month in which Israeli startups raised more than USD 2 Billion, after raising a record USD 2.8 billion in March. Meanwhile, Taylor Wessing in partnership with the British Embassy in Israel, is to launch The VC Club to increase the UK’s market share in investments in Israeli startups and to help Israeli investors identify exciting opportunities in the UK.  IFLR1000 Women Leaders 2021 identifies 20 Israeli lawyers.

In other global news, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner acts for Israeli state-owned Rafael Advanced Defense Systems on a breakthrough JV with Abu Dhabi-based technology company Group 42, H-F & Co. advised Israeli-US universal data storage solutions company VAST Data on its latest Series D financing round at a company valuation of USD 3.7 Billion, Goldfarb Seligman advised Israeli ag-tech startup Prospera as it was snapped up by U.S. firm Valmont for USD 300 million while Herzog acted for Super Group in a USD 4.75 Billion SPAC deal with Sports Entertainment Acquisition Corp!
