Coming up are the LMG Life Sciences Awards EMEA – you will be able to submit nominations for leading practitioners and deals within your firm’s Life Sciences practice. The research cycle opens December 9, 2021, and closes January 27, 2022.
A Recap of What the LMG Awards are:
LMG produces one of the most respected awards programs for life sciences practitioners and firms around the world. including Israel. Run by Euromoney, the awards are researched and adjudicated by a dedicated awards team that works across titles including Benchmark Litigation, Expert Guides, IFLR, ITR, Managing IP and The Deal.
The awards look to recognize leading European law firms and lawyers specialized in the life sciences industry. National firm of the year awards – including Israel – will be based primarily on the evidence of work highlights. The evaluation will focus on work done under the governing law of the relevant jurisdiction, considering the role of the firm in the work, its impact and complexity.
Methodology:
The awards are split into practitioner, firm, and case/deal categories. Law firms, private practitioners, and in-house counsel teams are invited to make nominations detailing their accomplishments in the life sciences industry – broadly across the following categories.
• Financial & corporate
• Intellectual property (IP)
• Non-IP litigation & enforcement
• Regulatory
There is one template for law firms and one for GCs. A dedicated research team will evaluate the written entries and conduct a series of interviews with leading practitioners and in-house counsel in the market across multiple areas of law and jurisdictions. They will also look at rankings.
The next awards will relate to accomplishments/deals/cases between January 1 – December 31, 2021.
What is needed:
Mostly existing and relevant content (bios and highlights) can be extracted from other submissions and a ‘tailored shop’ window that is focused on Life Sciences.
We attach last year’s template as a sample only (in case it changes) and look out for a new template on December 9 when research opens.
